Germicidal UV offers a range of UVC air purification solutions, designed to improve air quality and help reduce the risk of healthcare-associated infections (HAIs).
Mediduct UV integrates Germicidal’s clean air filtration technology into one of Aaztec’s healthcare handwash stations. Designed for high-risk infection areas, it draws contaminated air from bed level and treats it through an integrated UVC purification system, providing targeted, continuous air cleaning where it matters most.

With all the benefits of our standard healthcare IPS units, Mediduct UV features a clean air filtration system designed to fit seamlessly within our units, that eliminates 99.9% of Covid19 and influenza viruses.
The air purifier captures contaminated air, optimises airflow using the Coanda effect, and recirculates it through a UV-C field to neutralise viruses before releasing clean, purified air.
Developed in partnership with Germicidal UV, the system combines proven UV-C technology with patent-pending innovation to help create safer healthcare environments.
Suspended Ceiling UVC Air Purification
Germicidal UV’s flagship product, the CT 300, is a powerful UV-C air purification unit designed for discreet installation within suspended ceilings, replacing a standard 600 x 600mm tile.
Air passes through a G4 filter before entering the UV-C reactor chamber, where controlled exposure delivers a minimum 99.9% lethal dose against influenza A viruses in a single pass, even at high fan speeds. It is also effective against bacteria, moulds, yeasts and other pathogens.
Upper Room UVC Air Purification
The Upper Room UV-C unit provides continuous air disinfection using safe, upper-room UV-C light. Installed just below ceiling height, it creates a controlled disinfection zone that neutralises airborne pathogens with up to 99.9% efficiency.
An energy-efficient alternative to major ventilation upgrades, it can help improve indoor air quality and infection control with minimal disruption. Healthcare studies suggest upper-room UV-C can provide the equivalent of 10+ additional air changes per hour in inadequately ventilated spaces.
