Education
Nursery & Primary
It is important to provide clean, safe and hygienic washrooms for children in all levels of education. A priority for nurseries and primary schools is to provide fun but safe and welcoming washrooms, as they play a crucial part in a child’s personal development.
Our Penguin Mini toilet cubicle range has been specifically designed for nursery tots and early years with low-height, curve-top doors for easy adult supervision and sturdy floor channels for stability and robustness.
Penguin is perfect for primary schools as it accommodates differing door heights for the various supervision and privacy requirements of the different key stages. We suggest 1200mm for infants (4-7 years), 1350mm for Key Stage 1 (5-7 years) and 1500mm for Key Stage 2 (7-11 years).
Both of our nursery and primary school toilet cubicle ranges offer our all-important anti-finger trap hinges and emergency release locks and are available in a wide range of fun, vibrant colours or digitally printed doors.
Secondary & Sixth Form
A safe environment is still required at a more senior level but older students require a more modern and sleek look with durability and privacy in mind.
Our best-selling Marine range, with 2000mm door heights, is ideal for same sex washrooms. However, if there is a requirement for floor to ceiling cubicles, Marine + offers complete privacy which is perfect for unisex or open plan toilets, of which there are many benefits to encouraging inclusivity and discouraging bullying.
Atlantic and Atlantic + offer the same benefits as our Marine ranges but are complete with stainless steel fittings for an even more stylish look.
All of our secondary school toilet cubicle ranges use Solid Grade Laminate (SGL) panels, which are waterproof, and robust anti-vandal fittings.
Further & Higher Education
University and College washrooms need to be robust enough to withstand heavy use and intensive cleaning yet be pleasant to use. Design considerations should include the washroom being bright, welcoming, clean and hygienic, encouraging respect.
Shared washrooms can help with transgender equality and give students who do not identify with a particular gender, the opportunity to use the facilities without having to feel uncomfortable or confused.
Marine and Atlantic also work particularly well here, and are often paired with solid surface washtroughs that are not only extremely stylish, but are durable, easy-to-clean and space-saving too.
