Basins
Gentec Australia’s Sterisan basins feature patented nano-glazing technology and an innovative offset-waste design to support improved hygiene in healthcare environments.
By positioning the waste away from the direct flow of water from the tap, the design helps reduce disturbance to biofilm within the waste and trap. The generously sized basin also helps contain more potentially contaminated water, supporting a more hygienic handwashing environment.
Taps
Gentec’s medical taps are manufactured from Grade 304 and 316L stainless steel and are 100% lead-free, offering a safer alternative to traditional DZR brass taps, which contain lead.
Designed with vulnerable patients in mind, including older people, those who are unwell and children, the taps are also available with touch-free operation to help minimise contact and reduce the risk of bacterial transfer.
