Unlike last year, we managed to pick a glorious day and enjoy a round in the Yorkshire sunshine for once! Anthony is setting off on a very exciting adventure cycling across Europe, and Andy, who has been with us for just over 16 years, is hanging up his work boots for his cycling shoes (and slippers!) and is ready to enjoy his extremely well-deserved retirement. - [Mental Health Awareness Week 2023](https://aaztec.com/mental-health-awareness-week-2023/): We’re proud to be supporting Mental Health Awareness Week 2023. This year’s theme is anxiety, which is a common feeling for many people. In aid of this, the team took part in a breathing exercises class with the amazing Arleen. We learnt all about the benefits of breath control to relieve many physiological symptoms and how it can help with the effects and feelings of anxiety. A really informative session full of helpful tips that we hope the team found useful! 
- [Big charity bike ride](https://aaztec.com/big-charity-bike-ride/): The fabulous Andy Thewlis and Anthony Salomon from our Production department cycled 100 miles on Saturday to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.  This is in aid of our amazing colleague Joe who is currently receiving treatment, and has been given lots of wonderful support from Macmillan during this difficult time. They did amazingly well and raised over £1000 for this worth cause! Well done guys, we’re all very proud of you – what a fantastic achievement!

The Aaztec team are deeply saddened to hear about the passing of the Queen and our condolences are with the Royal Family at this incredibly hard time. We have been reminicsing and sharing our personal stories of our experiences with HRH. A few among us remember her trip to Leeds in 1977 as part of the Silver Jubilee celebrations.
